В работе рассматриваются основные тенденции развития современного мира и современной интернет-коммуникации, а также воздействие этих изменений на современного студента. Вследствие этого возникает необходимость пересмотра методики преподавания РКИ в университете. Поэтому учебный процесс должен быть построен с точки зрения образовательной ценности для обучаемых. Целью такого обучения является обеспечение студентов навыками, которые будут необходимы в конкретных жизненных ситуациях и работе. Автор предлагает свое видение организации занятий РКИ, основанных на выработке у студентов необходимых в современном мире практических навыков.

The paper considers the main trends in the development of the modern world and modern Internet communication, as well as the impact of those changes on the today student. So there is a need to reconsider the methodology of teaching Russian as foreign language at the university. Therefore, the educational process should be built in terms of educational value for the learners. The purpose of such learning is to provide students with the skills that will be essential in specific life situations and work. The author offers his own vision of the organization of classes in Russian as foreign language, based on the development of practical skills needed in modern world.
