В статье прослеживается изменение аналитического языка субкультурных исследований в контексте трансформаций социальности при переходе от модерна к постмодерну. Выделяются и сравниваются три сменяющих друг друга основных подхода к определению субкультуры: как девиации, как сопротивления, как потребительского стиля. Этот сдвиг рассматривается как следствие глубинных социокультурных преобразований - размывания классовой структуры и ослабления гегемонии единообразной массовой культуры.
The present article tracks the shift in analytical language of subculture studies within the context of social transformation and development from modern to postmodern era. The three successive approaches to definition of subculture (as deviation, as resistance, as consumption) are distinguished and compared. This shift is considered as a consequence of significant socio-cultural transformations -the errosion of class structure and weakening of homogenous mass culture hegemony.
