<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The popularity of visual media is steadily growing. Over the past 10 years, the YouTube video holding, and, in particular, its Russian-speaking segment, has grown from an amateur video repository into one of the largest information resources on the planet, and video blogging has turned from a strange hobby into a prestigious and profitable profession. More and more people prefer to watch the news rather than read it. The same applies to journalism. The genre of a video article in which the author complements the material with audiovisual content is easier to perceive, since it uses several channels of perception and does not require active actions from the audience, such as paging scrolling through pages or scrolling the screen. The article will consider the main directions of literary journalism in the vastness of Russian-language YouTube.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>YouTube</kwd><kwd>литературная публицистика</kwd><kwd>литература</kwd><kwd>публицистика</kwd><kwd>СМИ</kwd><kwd>филология</kwd><kwd>литературоведение</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>YouTube</kwd><kwd>literary journalism</kwd><kwd>literature</kwd><kwd>journalism</kwd><kwd>media</kwd><kwd>philology</kwd><kwd>literary criticism</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Агеева 2020 – Агеева Г.М.
