Статья посвящена теме памяти, соотношению категорий воображения и забвения на примере книги шведского автора Андреаса Гедина «Счастлив тот, кто может забыть», 2023 г., которая продолжает традицию иммигрантской культуры в Швеции, развивая тему переживания травматического опыта после Холокоста. В статье рассмотрены память, забвение и воображение как структурные элементы произведения. Важную роль в репрезентации памяти играет воображение основного субъекта речи, нарратора, который, не зная прошлого своего дедушки, обращается к воображаемому, тем самым достраивает утраченные или скрытые воспоминания, заполняет лакуны памяти, опираясь на свои чувства и эмоции, а также на исторический контекст. В статье показано, как утрата прошлого не препятствует, а, напротив, побуждает нарратора воссоздать его картину, способствуя обретению утраченных воспоминаний. Через анализ субъектной организации текста и его образной структуры рассматривается специфика репрезентации исторической памяти в произведении А. Гедина. 

The article is devoted to the theme of memory and the relationship between the categories of imagination and forgetting, using Swedish author Andreas Gedin’s 2023 book, “Happy is he who can forget,” as an example. This book continues the tradition of immigrant culture in Sweden by exploring the theme of post-Holocaust trauma. The article examines memory, forgetting and imagination as structural elements of the work. The imagination of the narrator plays a key role in representing memory. Unaware of his grandfather’s past, he turns to the imaginary, thereby completing lost or hidden memories and filling in the gaps of memory, drawing on his feelings and emotions, as well as the historical context. The article demonstrates how the loss of the past, rather than hindering, encourages the narrator to recreate its image, facilitating the recovery of lost memories. Through an analysis of the subjective organization of the text and its figurative structure, the specific representation of historical memory in Andreas Gedin’s work is examined.
