В статье рассматриваются записи устных текстов олонхо в аспекте традиционных представлений о слове, находящих в них имплицитное выражение. Предметом исследования, в частности, становятся типичные словесные жесты персонажей эпоса, метафорические обозначения речи, паремии на соответствующую тематику, характеристики мифологических персонажей - хранителей дара слова, представленные в устных вариантах. Автор анализирует их как пример рефлексии над языком и речевой деятельностью человека в тотально устной среде, влиявшей в том числе и на прагматику самого эпического жанра.
The article considers the records of the oral olonkho texts in the aspect of traditional notions about the word, which are implicit in them. Particularly, the author considers the typical verbal gestures of the epic characters, the metaphorical designations of speech, the paremias on the relevant subject, the characteristics of mythological characters - the guardians of the gift of eloquence, presented in oral variants. These data are analyzed as an example of thinking about language and speech activity of a person in a totally oral environment, that influenced among other the pragmatics of epic genre itself.
