В статье анализируются публикации журнала Ф.М. и М.М. Достоевских «Эпоха», посвященные женскому труду. Через призму женского труда авторы журнала рассматривают актуальный вопрос женской эмансипации. Они поддерживают стремление женщин к самостоятельности, однако настаивают на том, что путь женской эмансипации будет трудным и долгим из-за неподготовленности русского общества в 1860-х годах к такому новому явлению, как самостоятельная и независимая женщина.
The article deals with the publication of the journal of F.M. and M.M. Dostoevsky “Epocha” devoted to women’s labour. Through the prism of women’s labour authors of the journal consider the pressing question of women’s emancipation. They support the desire of women for independence, however, insist that the path to women’s liberation will be long and difficult because of the unpreparedness of the Russian society in the 1860s to such a new phenomenon as a separate and independent woman.
