Статья посвящена памяти известного ученого-лингвиста, педагога и переводчика Юрия Семеновича Мартемьянова, который внес значительный вклад в развитие теоретической и прикладной лингвистики, в частности, теории синтаксиса, герменевтики, машинного перевода. Особое внимание уделено профессиональным и нравственным урокам, вынесенным автором из общения с Ю.С. Мартемьяновым за период с конца 1970-х до начала 1990 годов при участии в научных исследованиях и прикладных разработках в рамках программ сотрудничества между Киевским государственным университетом им. Т.Г. Шевченко и Всесоюзным центром переводов Госкомитета по науке и технике и АН СССР.
The article is dedicated to the memory of the well-known linguist, teacher and translator Yurii Martem’yanov, who made a signifcant contribution to the development of theoretical and applied linguistics, in particular, the theory of syntax, hermeneutics, machine translation. Special attention is paid to the professional and moral lessons learned by the author from her communication with Yurii Martem’yanov in the period from the late 1970s to early 1990 while participating in scientifc research and applications within the framework of cooperation programs between Taras Shevchenko Kiev State University and the All-Union Center for Translations of the State Committee for Science and Technology and the USSR Academy of Sciences.
