Abstract

The paper postulates the Russian idiom of the English language as a specific semiotic system characterized by mass spreading and the system of typical structural and functional regularities. The author specifically describes peculiarities of using infinitives and infinitive constructions in the English speech of Russian-speaking people. Some conclusions are drawn on regularities of non-native speech production and grammatical idioethnicity of non-authentic English speech determined by a pragmalinguistic transfer of syntactic means of thought verbalization.
