Abstract

The article is devoted to the practice of implementation of the competence approach in professional journalistic education in the use of the master class. The range of general and professional competencies that are formed effectively enabling the master class in the educational program “Journalism” is defined. The relationship of the master class use with the processes of formation of professional self-determination and identity of future journalists is observed.
