Abstract

With the passing of generations, the repertoire of childlore changes. The stories that used to make children shake in fear under the sheets, now provoke only laughter or do not cause any emotions at all. What’s terrible in today’s terrible stories? What do practitioners mean by a horror story? These questions seem to be the most important.
