Abstract

The article is about the use of “da net (yes no)” speech cliche in modern Russian newspaper, internet- and radiotexts. The analysis of the Kommersant publishing house in 2022–2023 makes it possible to identify such functions of the construction as mitigation of denial, organization of a question-and-answer passage, ironic clarification of the author’s thought, involvement of the addressee in the process of reasoning. In general, the conversational communicative provides dialogization of media text. The article notes that linguistic dictionaries lack adequate information about the meaning and use of the speech cliche “yes no”, and the task is to clarify the lexicographic fixation of the turnover, taking into account its implementation in modern Russian media language.
