Abstract
This article is about the Kiev social and political journalism of M.E. Koltsov. The factors by which the journalist had to hide his activities in Kiev in 1918 were analysed. Koltsov’s article during Kiev period “In the camp of Petlyura” that has never been introduced into academic circles so far is now published.
