“List of benefactions” a play by Jury olesha in the mirror of soviet criticism. Status of the Soviet intelligentsia in the early 1930-s

Abstract
The paper deals with mutual attitude of intelligentsia and the soviet regime in the early 1930-s as it was reflected in a play “List of benefactions” by Jury olesha. By the material of the soviet criticism reviews of this play it demonstrates the mechanism of “reforging” the intelligentsia (artists, poets, writers) into a social group destined to “service” the state apparatus.
