Abstract

The article is about the position of the publicist and philosopher VV. Rozanov in connection with the “Baileys case”. His articles of 1911–1913, published in the newspaper “Novoye Vremya”, are analyzed. Agreeing with a conclusion about the possibility for Jews to commit ritual murder of a Russian boy, Rozanov, according to the author of the article, thus developed his complex philosophical views on Judaism. However, that position was not accepted by the liberal circles, which led to his social isolation.
