Abstract

The article considers specifics of usage and writing names consisting of several words, in official texts and media. The research is conducted on the basis of materials Russian National Corpus. The hypothesis about the causes of occurrence and mechanisms of selection of different variants of spelling rules and the nature of usual preferences is proposed.
