Abstract

The article analyzes the journalistic component of the first two articles of the famous Soviet novelist V.S. Grossman, published in July 1941 by the newspaper “Izvestiya”. Despite V. Grossman’s being famous as a war correspondent, those two pieces have not been commented on yet. It is concluded that the main journalistic method used by V.S. Grossman is an antithesis that manifests itself at the level of the ideology, composition and speech means.
