Pragmatics of using the word “freedom” in the modern online publication RBC

Abstract

The article is an analysis of the pragmatics of using the word in the media text. The noun “freedom” is one of the lexical units that denote social categories, and therefore is pragmatically charged even before being included in the text. The pragmatic potential of the word “freedom” can sharpen the social significance and influence of the media text. The conclusion is made about the great pragmatic possibilities of the word “freedom”.
