Functioning of semantic synonyms conscious and realized in the modern media text: on the material of the “Kommersant” editions

Abstract
The article is devoted to the functioning of the synonymous words conscious and realized in media texts. The sources of the research were Kommersant publications that are widely distributed, including on the Internet, and that at the same time are classified as the high-quality press, what makes it possible to use those publications as representative material. The purpose of the article is to determine whether the word realized can be synonymous with the multivalued word conscious in all its meanings. It is concluded that the word realized is used as a synonym for the word conscious in all meanings, although some of them relate to the colloquial style. Moreover an active use of this word in media texts indicates the possible displacement of the word realized by the word conscious, especially in the journalistic style.
