Abstract

The article deals with the use of pedagogical (educational) design approaches in modern professional media education. It considers the modern requirements for the learning process within the framework of professional media education, as well as the role of media educational technologies and the impact of Generation Z’s demand for learning process. The article offers solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of learning through distance and offline learning, using the experience of the Faculty of Journalism at the Russian State University for the Humanities as an example.
