VR-competences in system of professional activity of journalist

Abstract

Virtual reality journalism gets widespread in the global media industry. The article attempts to analyze what are the journalist competences being actionable with that technology, what are the difficulties and issues faced by the experts during the preparation of the VR video. In preparation for the immersive content the priority is taken by the competence associated with script development, filming with 360° cameras, the production of 3D graphics and directing projects using VR technology.
