Abstract
In the article for the first time complex research of history of formation of general education system in the Yakutia region in the XIX - early XX centuries is carried out. The article is based on the previously unknown documents of the Russian state historical archive and National archive of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Special attention is paid to identifying the specifics of educational institutions network development in the Yakutia region, to types of educational institutions, educational system management organization.

Abstract
The article is based on documents of public organizations which are stored in the Russian State Historical Archive of the Far East. The article analyzes the charitable activities of medical, fire and other public organizations. The main attention is paid to their participation in the decision of economic, social and cultural problems of the region. It is concluded that their charity work was supported by the Governor’s power for more successful solutions to the most pressing issues of development of the Russian Far East.

Abstract
The article represents the biography of George Dobson, one of the first correspondents of The Times newspaper in Russia. His life reconstructed with the use of material from different sources, mainly foreign ones. The example of his biography helps to trace the complexity and instability of the British-Russian relations, twists and turns of the British policy towards the Russian Empire, Provisional government and Bolsheviks at the end of XIX and the beginning of XX centuries.

Abstract
The article describes the cases and circumstances of the arraignment of peasants for the keeping and distribution of illegal antigovernment publications in Tver province in 1900-1904. It examines the motivation of accused peasants and punitive policy of authorities in relation to those, who committed such actions.

Abstract
The article analyses anonymous reports sent to Moscow Security Department and Moscow office of the Chief of Police during 1903-1907. The focus of the author is threatening letters to the leaders of the Moscow police, the letters, revealing the revolutionaries, and the slander of the townsfolk at each other. The author comes to the conclusion about the lack of attention of the political police to anonymous reports.

Abstract
An activity in Poland of the Warsaw Provisional Committee on fighting the famine in Russia is highlighted on the basis of documents from the former Prague archives. The main attention is paid to the plans and actions of the Committee to aid the starving people. It is concluded that, despite the desire to better the lot of hunger bitten compatriots in Russia, the Committee could not provide an actual assistance due to lack of relevant organizational and material capabilities.

Abstract
This article considers involvement of the political bodies of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army in organizing of the guerilla struggle in the Central Chernozem Region in 1941-1942. For the first time in the Russian historiography the activity of the political bodies of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army in organizing guerilla struggle is considered on the basis of the documents from the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation first presented to the scientists. Special attention is paid to the participation of the political bodies of the fronts and armies in forming guerilla brigades and to the coordination of their activity at the territory of Central Chernozem Region occupied by troops of Nazi Germany in 1941-1942. It has been concluded that the contribution of the army political bodies to the organizing the Resistance was limited to the assistance to partisans in crossing the front line and spreading agitating material at the occupied territories.

Abstract
The article analyses the actions and interaction of the Bolshevik party and the Soviet state institutions for the protection of military and state secrets in 1941 - autumn 1942. Thanks to the measures taken a significant portion of information of military and national importance was prevent from leakage. Also, these measures helped to block the action of German intelligence in that direction.

Abstract
The article analyses materials in the religious and the church themes, appeared in the collaborationist newspaper “Rech” (“Speech”), published in the Orel-city and distributed in the territory temporarily occupied by German troops during 1941-1944. The main attention is paid to the topic lines, the literary features and the propaganda’s orientation of the articles about the religious life of the population and activities of the Russian orthodox Church during the occupation.

Abstract
This article discusses methods of the binding and usage of historical and anthropological information appearing in the materials of archival funds of classical gymnasiums. It is concluded that in the preparation and existence of gymnasiums documents the information connections passed through their conversion and deformation, what requires some-study for its decoding.

An importance of round table for the development of contemporary historical studies is considered. Abstract
The article is devoted to the results of studying military and political activities of General L.G. Kornilov in 1917-1918 by the well-known Russian historian G.Z. Ioffe. A special focus is made on the evolution of the assessments that G.Z. Ioffe gave to L.G. Kornilov personality in his three books published in the late 1970’s - mid 1990’s. It also demonstrates how G.Z. Ioffe’s research work is reflected in the historical space of the Internet these days.
